Michael is extraordinarily talented. He recorded our garage band back in the day and was super cool with all of us even though we were nowhere as talented as he. I always remember him being super cool, that was back in the early 90's. that song ended up playing as a commercial on the radio for 5 years, lol.

I also saw him @ Taste of Montgomery County. Great show. Also saw him September 18th @ Lafayette Brewing Company with his band. Met him during the break between sets. He invited me to stand right next to the stage. Great guy & musician. Thanks Michael. Play on.

What a brilliant reimagination! of an immortal song. This version should enjoy the same respect as the interpretations of Jake Shimabukaro or even Prince's scorching live guitar solo. It's the sign of a truly epic song that it can be covered from different angles and still deliver shivers to so many corners of the soul. It's my generation's, "My Favorite Things."

I met Kelsey at a very intimate show in Ohio several years ago, and have always thought he was an incredible talent. This video bears that out. I do wish the guitar was a bit more in tune, but I suppose that's the price you pay for this level of coolness.

Michael and Victor Wooten should get together. Bela can come, too.
