Michael Kenna, you are truly inspirational. Your compositions are unworldly and yet they seem very familiar to my heart, for some reason. You got me started in landscape photography and you gave me the keys to perceive things differently and to represent them so that they speak directly to the heart. Thank you so much. :)

I have always argued that photography was, and is, a craft. Not so with Michael Kenna. He has convinced me that photography can be art as well as craft. His work is absolutely stunning and inspirational. I am inspired to try my hardest to see things the way he does with my own photography. Thank you Michael.

Most interesting. I'm a great admirer of MK's work. How many of us have been influenced by his ethereal mono images? A different way of seeing and truly inspirational.

The music was the absolute antithesis of a Michael Kenna photograph...in my humble opinion.

wow amazing photos!, im starting in this world of photography. In my opinion is not about study this art , is about to be receptive , to learn on how to see. Study photography is like study how to make the love. How long it takes to be a good photogrhaper?. Right now im going to take some pictures of trees.

I don't think you were taught how to give constructive criticism. your comment only contains criticism. it's not helping anyone, especially yourself.

@MrWagwaniify You know for what its worth, Michael Kenna might even agree with you...but I reckon he would have a different perspective than your limited scope could muster...More importantly it appears he's a man doing what he loves to do and even makes a good living at it...that my friend is a trick few can lay claim to in their lives...please show us some of your tricks.

@MrWagwaniify I'm happy to view your work as I am with all artistic endeavors. Unfortunately however talented you might be...and you may very well be talented...calling someone as dedicated, accomplished, generous of craft and humble as Michael Kenna a one trick pony serves only to diminish your place in the art world and makes you indeed a rather small person as both artist and a human being.
