That flap is for theft security. A couple of times, I have found the zipper partially open while wearing a Fanny pack toward the back of my hip. While it is a small inconvenience , I prefer the flap to deter easy access.

How do you use it like a fanny pack?

I neeed your help! Today i recive this bag as a gift, i already have this model but in monogram. And the top zipper has longer that thing above zipper that you are talking about ( sorry english isnt my first language) on my monogram bag then on this. My question is when you zip it does the zipper show? Like when i zip monogram you can't see the zipper but on this one i can.

Hi hun, thanks for your comment. I’m not exactly sure what you mean but I don’t really see the actual zipper when I close it, I only see the long leather tag. Hope that helps. :)
