Michael Learns To Rock was formed in the spring of 1988 by singer and keyboard player JASCHA RICHTER (born 1963), drummer KÅRE WANSCHER (born 1969), guitarist MIKKEL LENTZ (born 1968) and bassist SØREN MADSEN (born 1967). In that summer the band won a local talent competition and started out on a nearly-two-years-long tour around Denmark. Playing wherever possible, winning an ever-growing audience and having both talent and musical skills, the songs sharpened along the way. After months of hard work in the studio, the band released their self-titled debut album in September 1991. Among the fine songs on the album is the smash hit “The Actor” that got wall-to-wall airplay from Danish radio stations and helped the album reach the top of the Danish sales chart in January 1992. Later that year “The Actor” went #1 on the charts in Norway, Sweden, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

Whenever I listen to Michael Learns to Rock, especially this song I recently discovered, it always brings back memories of my dad in heaven, who passed away during the COVID surge in 2020. This song makes me tear up, and it does the same for my family. We've shared so many moments together-both sweet and bittersweet-but I’ll never forget how he used to sing this song to us. His remarkable voice is one of the legacies he left for me and my sisters. I'm beyond grateful that he was my dad.

I loved MLTR so much because of the beautiful songs and Jascha's unique voice that no one has ever sounded like. so it's sad as the years count they're getting older little by little it's just sad when they're no longer in music if only it were possible my life and MLTR have no boundaries anymore listening I was young but I first listened to MLTR I said there is nothing like it. I first listened to MLTR 2000's when I was 8 years old now 20+ and about to turn 30. I'm from the Philippines, thank you for your music that was with me when I grew up and with me when I'm sad, MLTR's song makes me happy to let life go on. I hope I can see MLTR live in Manila before everything is lost, but I'm far away in the province. Thank you MLTR.

내 이럴줄 알았지 명곡에는 댓가가 따르는 법 댓글이 끝이없지. 그래도 이곡을 부르고 연주한 마이클 런스투락 은 히트곡이 한둘이 아니다는거 나는 길보드 리어카에서 테잎으로 샀다! 아무도 별거아닌 리어카에서 당시 레코드점 cd 점이 있어 모두가 그곳에서 구입했다는것 그러나 나는 리어카에도 내가 좋아하는 음악이 수없이 많아 하나가지고 성이 안차 두섹개는 사야 직성이 풀렸었지! 그때만해도 중학교때 형과함께 동대문에서 3개2000원인 테잎을 형도 골라 봐! 돈이 없었지만 같이와준 보람으로 선물겸 고마워서 몇개 사줬다.그때만 80후반 해도 리어카에서 서로 경쟁하듯 자리를 점유해 시셈하듯 경쟁하듯 장사를 하고 있었었다! 그러나 역시 싸구려는 들통나는법 갑자기 잡음이나거나 말리기도 했다! 그래서 공테입을 사다 카세트 에서 녹음믈해 들었다! 바보같은짓 나중에야 알았다 레코드점이 있다는걸 아버지께서 나의 이 행동을 음악을 즐기는걸 아시고 형과나를 데리고 레코드점에 대려가서 가스펠송, 클래식을 추천 사다줬다! 그러나 나는 팝에 빠졌다! 우여히 길거리에서 흘러 나오는곡을 듣고 또 라디오에서 자주 나왔던거로 알았다. 라디오에서 mbc 2 시 데이트 주말에 시간이 남으니 더욱 시간을 내 라디오를 들었다! 그래서 미친듯이 사온 테잎이 모던토킹 년말에 100곡을 선정 모던토킹은 30위 내가보기엔 10위안에 들줄알았는데 아까비 제트에어라이너 귀에 착감기는 멜로디 아름다워 모던토킹을 이야기 할때 빼놓을수 없는 곡 그러나 나는 atlantis is coling 을 원했다! 나는 이곡을 워낙에 좋아
