Everybody talking about the Duval thing cuz it's funny but Lombo laid out the biggest issue perfectly; it's not Lawrence he's gotta rebuild, it's a whole dumpster fire of a franchise. And regardless of where they play for however many fans for the next two years, that is still another big distraction for a young, really inexperienced coach who hasn't really had that much responsibility on his plate professionally so far. No matter how anybody wants to spin it, the way he left Tampa gives him a credibility issue. It already cost him his supposed number one choice for OC with the Bucs blocking a request for an interview. The guy that most people think he wants to hire as GM is the very Tampa executive that he ghosted in signing the new deal he agreed to the night before. His near verbatim welcome pressers for both teams about finally putting down roots and finding a home has me thinking this guy knows the words but doesn't quite realize the responsibility he has just shouldered. The worst part is that he is somehow giving Lerpville hope and that is just mean. Even I wouldn't be that cruel.
