Malone talking about Aaron coming off the bench and being selfless gives me chills because we have started to see more and more of that Orlando Aaron Gordon where he gets to be the first option more and more. And I know his bully ball post game gets in these younger bench players heads. He brings the physicality to the game

But their going small formula NEVER worked in the playoffs...EVER... So that 3 guard lineup is a recipe for a loss... Westbrook should come off the bench

@@OnlyMorale Don't compare the Nuggets to the Suns. The Suns are a small ball team. The Nuggets play inside out, utilize mid-range, and have Jokic playing like a big in the post. The Nuggets need to be well rounded and that's what they've been doing recently. That's why they've been performing better.

Gordon is ironically playing better off the bench than when he was starting. He looks like a first option because he is the undisputed first option coming off the bench. That’s why he looks like a more versatile player off the bench cause he gets to use his entire bag and not just be a dunker or lob threat. I believe the starting five were too top heavy and they’ve had to sacrifice part of their game and simplify their bags to fit each other better but this move shows how good Gordon was and is. He is so much more and him in the second unit unlocks him so much, it’s scary. The bench looks terrific now and it’s 100% because of him.

Moving AG to the 5 with the second unit minutes keyed the later part of the championship season when we started destroying teams. AG is a boss!

I noticed Aaron Gordon coming of the bench has made the difference. The bench of the Nuggets was horrible, their weak spot. Now with Gordon in the bench there is no weak bench anymore. This interview did not mentioned that. Also Westbrook is more effective playing with Nikola and starting than coming off the bench. It is not about egos, but what works best for the team. And it seems Michael finally found a lineup that works.

Michael Malone has done an amazing job rotating the roster with Gordon. Having our younger guys develop in Christian Braun and Julian Strawther has been huge. They both scored 20 pts against the 76ers. Shame the guy we drafted is out for the season. It would have been interesting to see how he plays with his teammates.
