While that might be true.......everyone stat pads. Tom Brady has addressed him doing it several times in his career in interviews on national television and no one batted an eye. Whole ass teams have said they stat padded to get their players/teammates paid. This is completely inline with American culture.

For the European players the team is always on the first place, because that is the core of the EuroBasket. In NBA they are always playing one on one. They have totally different strategies. Perkins definitely doesn't watch Jokic play. I've seen stat padding with players like Westbrook (love him though) and Harden where their teammates let them grab rebounds etc. Never have I seen anything remotely similar with Jokic. He simply plays to win, that's it.

I think Mike Malone has to be careful. I believe he should just focus on trying to win in the playoffs as opposed to Jokic's MVP race.
