Do you think Mark Davis was offended by the players demanding AP get hired? I think so because even Mark Davis has to know that s coach can't win without a quarterback, and Mark Davis didn't get AP a quarterback.. So, AP has to be one of the great coaches to get this team to the playoffs, and it would be totally unfair to fire AP without 1st getting him a capable QB.. Yes, AP has made some rookie mistakes, but AP has only coached 13 games total.. So, he just needs more experience

If we're 13th-ish next year & the QBs we value at 13 are gone again? Would you pass on the RB value-equivalent of Brock Bowers? We can't have QB tunnel-vision. If we can get the QB we covet for lil to nothing extra, fine, done deal. But if it costs us a guy like Jeanty or a top LT, plus a high pick or two... Top QBs are the most ginormous Risk/Reward in the draft. If we pay out Lombardi's talking hole for a QB that doesn't pan out, that's the worst case scenario there is! We desperately need a top young QB, no doubt. But say we can buy another year's time with Stafford, Darnold, etc. & add in a top LT, a top RB, more draft picks, whatever & not shove an over-costed QB down our own throats? Stafford +the young Offense we have & plus a dynamic non-QB Offensive draft pick or two & go after our long-term QB again the next year isn't a bad option at all.
