Man, back in high school my buddies and I put together a script for a “Scary Movie”-esque parody featuring everyone from Scream to the Blair Witch. It was basically a reality show where a bunch of victims are crowded into a house and whoever lives with all of these horror characters turned loose on them wins the prize money. Meanwhile the horror characters were told that whoever got the most kills would win the prize money. Mayhem ensues. At one point in the film Michael Myers is chasing two of them around at night, manages to get his pant leg caught on a fence, and proceeds to spend the rest of the movie trying awkwardly to reach back and cut his pant leg loose. Occasionally the film just cuts to him swinging at it with the Halloween piano theme playing and then cuts away again. He did manage to claim one more victim though, for the most part he became a background feature impotently swinging at anyone who passed by while they’d continue to converse as if he wasn’t even there, but at one point a couple of guys stand just out of arms’ reach teasing him, so he ties a shoelace around the knife and just flings it into one of their chests then yoinks it back. Eventually they all find out there is no prize money, the organizer gets hacked apart and the survivors on both sides all just dejectedly pack up and get in cars to leave, and Myers is still there, hacking away at that fence post…
