Unlike the 1978 mask that was a modified William Shatner mask, the 2018 mask was created from scratch to resemble Michael Myers but, as a result, lost all "Shatner-ness", unfortunately. This is the problem with almost all custom "classic" Myers sculpts, especially in 1/6 scale.

Thanks! I have been at a pretty steady 4 minutes 30 for the last couple videos, and It's just what they worked out to. Same as this. I feel like it was a little more simplistic of a build so I didn't want it to get boring, but I also was surprised how short it came out. Maybe I'll look into giving shots a little more time to breathe in future videos. Thanks for the feedback!

I have a question. Why do you sculpt the entire thing AND make a mild of it so that you can fill it with resin? What do you do with the original sculpture afterward? Just curious cause I love your work.

Casting in resin usually is to utilize the translucent properties for skin tone. That only happens on the skin around the eyes on this one, but still helps get a realistic look easier. And I chop up or melt down the previous sculpture. Been reusing the same clay through all of these videos.

I’ve never been a huge horror movie or slasher movie fan, but this right here is impressively sculpted, detailed and accurate to the movie! What makes Michael Myers scary, is not just the mask itself, it’s who’s underneath that blank, white and dirty mask, a demon who wants to kill and intimidate, while the mask is just the cherry on top of the cake.
