Finally, an excellent player!!. I find that most people don't play that song with enough emotions...

I completely agree with you. Pauses and softness are in the right place here. One does not need to rush the song or play it aggressively. It's, most of all, a feeling of beauty, as the artist here sensed it. Thank you 😊

I have been hearing and playing piano and Nyman since the movie... and I can say that you played EVEN BETTER than Nyman himself. The tenderness and the dialogue between the two lines in the right hand were marveluosly touching perfection. You are really a splendid musician.
@eigen12553 жыл бұрын
Definitely. Michael Nyman created this very beautiful piece, but he is sloppy in his live performances that I've seen so far. Maybe he has stage fright; I don't know.

I had to come back and express how much I hunk your interpretation is superior to other performances (including the soundtrack version itself), ESPECIALLY @ 1:28 You perfectly build up the crescendo (as intended) but chose to give the high notes a slow and soft delicacy which I personally think is how it should be. So many other performances rush through this section like it’s on fire and totally takes away time to think and reflect. Thanks for doing it justice.

Hi, I think I saw your name in a review on a piano review website, if I'm not mistaken? You see, I'm currently looking for a digital piano to buy myself. And I had kind of decided on one of the Yamaha's Clavinovas. More precisely, the CLP440 and CLP470; at least until I saw what I think was your review. :) It said there were some problems with the speakers of some sort. But what I want to ask you is; what do you personally recommend? Either way, thanks in advance :D

Thanks for the reply :D I'm probably going to play with headphones most of the time, so I don't think the 480 is going to be worth it. It's overpriced compared to the 470, in my opinion. I haven't had the the chance to try out any of the Rolands in the same price range, though.

Mark, can you play one of Chopin's song? I'm Polish and i'd like to know how you can play Polish man's song : ) .
