I listened to this song on repeat while I struggled through thermodynamics. It was an unimaginably depressing time for me during those days. But somehow this song, hearing it again after so long, makes me look back on those days fondly. I think, “just hold on, past me, the future is good. Just hang in there!” and I feel happy because I made it through such terrible feelings. I used to think this song was depressing, but it’s actually quite triumphant and tender sounding. I love it.
