Haven't seen anything from you in a while. For fins, I will never use traditional frog feet again. Mostly this is because our feet are 3 dimensional, and not flat like frog feet. Optimal foot position is toed in slightly, maybe not more than 30 to 45 degrees max. This gives us another 10 to 20 degrees of toe point, and allows us to use the side of our feet for propulsion. I have been using the Positive Drive fins from Finis, where there is very little fin on the big toe side, and a lot more fin on the little toe side. this pushes your toes and feet into the proper position. I do love the catch up drill, and prefer it with fins so I can move at more normal speed, but swim with the arms and body rotation in slow motion so I can concentrate on linking arm pull to body rotation. Oh, I use a snorkel as well. The under arm recover and extension is what I do with my low side arm when swimming my over arm side stroke. One length on one side, the next on the other side.

Yes I'm quite frustrated about that ..there was a song playing that we didn't know was copyrighted so we had to mute it..but don't worry for those 20 seconds there was only music playing no instruction...the visual of the drill was most important...sorry about that...thanks for the comment!

I think I have been kicking wrong. When I kick on a board I hardly go anywhere. Is the kick supposed be a whip like action or just straight up and down?
@siskatrainingsystems4 ай бұрын
More like a whip action...have a great vid of this on the channel..check the how to kick video out 👌

I gave up and bought fins. I’m just swimming for health, not to compete. I think you get a better workout with fins too.

@@TN-pw2nl hate to hear that you gave up, but yes fins are great, they make everything easy
