Ppl watch street ballers playing bums and that gets millions of views I can confirm women NBA players are better then a good amount of those people. The WNBA players don't generate revenue for the WNBA to same level the NBA players generate revenue for the NBA, why would the revenue share be the same? Regarding the players making money off their names, the league is financially unstable and doesn't make a profit, the only reason league exists because it is supported by the NBA. If the WNBA can't generate enough money to cover its costs, is it in a position to allow the players to make money outside league without the WNBA getting their cut? Regarding the coaches getting paid more, why shouldn't the coaches be paid more? The coaches have more options to work elsewhere, they can go work in colleges or in the NBA, the coaches need to be paid enough to attract them to work in WNBA. The players don't have an alternative league that is willing to pay more.

I've been to a few WNBA games and tbh it's not a good product. The tickets were around $75 each for lower level seats. I also live in the Dallas area so we have an NBA team, a G League team, 3 NCAA D1 programs, and numerous HS and AAU programs. As a Hooper and a Coach the WNBA is competing in the same space as all those other programs. Why can I get Mavs, Legends, TCU, UNT and SMU tickets for less than WNBA. Hell the Wings play at UT Arlington and those tickets are less.

What made the women mad was that he compared them to ping pong players. It’s a dumb comparison but I get what he’s saying. Or a least what he is trying to say. The WNBA problem has very little to do with the talent & skills. It’s there but the problems are 1. Not very entertaining. They got some really good players but we don’t see scoring 40 and 50 points as often like some of the NBA players. I don’t really care to see them dunking like other people do. 2. WNBA does a horrible job of marketing the best players. The fact that they talk about and show Caitlyn Clark and Angel Reese more than a Aja Wilson or Breanna Steward is kinda bad. 3. The games are being played in the summer when no NBA or NFL is going on. So those same kids y’all target to watch the game are mostly playing themselves. Because the league does an awful job marketing players and teams. Not a lot of people are interested in going to a game. Also it took the NBA a while to get to where they at now. Their first 25 years wasn’t great but they keep improving the game. WNBA gotta do more to improve their games and do better job with promotion of the teams and most importantly the players. How can you bring fans the game if they don’t know or have an idea on who is playing. It’s not easy but they gotta change the perception of the WNBA cuz rn it’s bad.
