As a working-class black woman, I poignantly experience racialized and sexualized oppression in ways my upper-class sisters will never, ever experience. To make matters worse, I was evicted from the middle-class into the pink-collar ghetto almost four decades ago by white feminists who were less educated than myself. Sadly, once I moved to Chicago, I didn't fit into any class.
