Michael's 30th Birthday (AND OUR FIRST YT VIDEO)

The first of many KZbin videos! We are so excited to be sharing our life together as an inter-abled couple with all of you! I'm so excited about being able to give you a better look at our life with long form content.
Michael turned the BIG 30 this year and I (Amanda) couldn't help but plan a super awesome party for him, with a special surprise!

You two seem really cool and as a person with a disability myself along with my boyfriend I am a huge advocate. I do however want to call your attention to the fact that wild animals like monkeys are wild and deserve to live that life. They shouldn’t be paraded around for human entertainment. It’s abuse and exploitation. Please consider informing your friends of this so they may investigate a sanctuary for them to live out a wild at heart life. Meaning in a GFAS accredited sanctuary. Captivity is no place for wild animals, and doesn’t help at all with conservation given they now rely on humans for survival. Please be spokesman for saving animals in the wild.

Hi there, these two ladies actually run a rescue and take in monkeys that were pets from people that didn’t take care of them. They have a very large sanctuary in their backyard that they run, and they take care of them really well from my understanding. The first thing that they did when they got to the party it was talk about the dangers of having a monkey and how are they are not good pets and talked about everything that they do you to take care of these animals that were not taken care of properly. They didn’t force him to do anything with us they were just visiting and doing stuff when they wanted to. I will be the first to admit that I am not a professional on this topic, but I did feel good about them specifically. I hope this clears things up a little bit !

I’m happy to see this and to hear about the sanctuary! I’m also quite pleased to see commenter you apologized when corrected - do not see that a lot on internet these days!! ❤ My best friend works at a rehabilitation wild center and they have ‘educational animals’ - ones who can’t be let back into wild for whatever reason and they also use those things to teach about the animals but also about rehabilitation and real info on wild animals as pets.
