Michael's Lazy Day Café - Guitar Performance No. 9

Hi Everyone! I hope you've been having a good week and a relaxing weekend. I really enjoyed playing guitar over this progression and sorta forgot about the piano for most of it. Sometimes that is just how it goes and that is what this channel is all about it! Chasing ideas that feel right. I really like the sort of "misty mountain" type vibe of this one. Not the Zeppelin song but an actual mountain with mist surrounding it lol!
Anyways, December and January are always very introspective times for me. Its when I reflect on all that happened in the previous year and plan everything that I want to try and accomplish in the new year. This year I want to be more focused and deliberate with my musical projects. In the past I have tried to pump out as much as I possible could. As I get older, I am trying to "say" something with what I release versus just release whatever comes out of me in a given two month period. With all that being said, I have a couple new projects I am excited to work on this year. Some solo, some with various musicians from my area. Some of it will be features on this channel (I promise it goes with the theme of this channel!), and some of it will be released to streaming services. Lot's of work ahead but I think the four goals that I have set this year are attainable, with releasing these performances at the top of the list. Doing this on a weekly basis has really gotten me super excited about music again. Needless to say, if you have just joined this channel, are passing through, or have been here for a while, thank you so much! It means the world to me that you would take the time out of your day to enjoy some quiet, patient music.
Anyways, I hope that you all enjoy Performance No. 9! Much more to come in 2025 that I cannot wait to share with you all!

P.S. Since I am starting to accumulate a good amount of these performances, I am considering mastering them and releasing them on streaming services. Let me know if that interested you.
