So unless you are expecting them to go seek out individual homeless people and give them things (which believe me, most of the time that would not be welcomed), you are incorrect. these people are awesome, they are actively reducing the gnarly amount of waste that "regular" people create and they are donating what they can which is way more than can be said about most people...

elisa maldonado Hi 🤗, thanks for letting me know your suggestion. I never thought of that. Thank you. I’ve not looked it up, but will check it out because I’m really serious about this...well, there are some liabilities am sure, but we are grown folk trying to make a change for the better and anything I, you, or anyone else for that matter should be aware of is their own liability if and when they dumpster dive, and this one area should not be a hindrance on anyone as it has been for many company’s to hold it against people in general. They keep doing what they do nonstop by throwing away many many usable items including food that can feed the hungry everyday. It doesn’t help the environment on what they keep doing. As it is, the not donating food that is expired due to lawsuits. That is insane! Not everything that has an expired date is technically expired or as it is with the ‘best used by’ whatever date. It says best use by...not expired, yet it gets thrown out too. I’ve not tried dumpster diving myself, but I think people should actually get paid to do it because it’s like another job. Cleaning out dumpsters for towns in making sure that usable items are not filling up our landfills. 💜✌🏼

Great video guys! Every now and then I can find a BBB or BBW that don’t paint their items. I also find lots of candles with broken glass that I give to folks who melt them and remove the glass. Keep up the great videos! Jay

I would of gotten inside of Joann’s dumpster!..there was more stuff..I learned from dumpster diving Joann’s is that you dig and go through and move those bags because there is stuff everywhere in there!.im a hard core dumpster diver and I search and dig!..I got about a 5000 dollar score from Joann’s a month ago..you don’t want to just lightly move stuff around.

My thoughts were like, so what if it had spray paint on it? Wash it, give it to the homeless. Please, don't leave them.

I’ve watched another reseller that uses WD40 for removing it.

Cheap hairspray will take permanent ink out of clothing. Even if it doesn't work its worth a try.

Tips for removing the red spray paint: use hand sanitizer on a cloth and rub gently. It all comes off. On wood, like the cutting boards, leave it on for a few minutes. On clothing, re-treat with hand sanitizer, then wash. It might only leave a faint pink stain but the homeless and DV shelters need the blankets and other stuff. They really do not care.

why can't you take the pillows nobody's going to see the spray paint you just get a cover to put on it and then put a pillowcase over that cover them are nice pillows I get them all the time from Bed Bath & Beyond I don't care about a little red paint cuz nobody sees it once you put it like I said it cover and then I pillowcase over it

they often use the primer and paint in one spray paint from rustoleum and you can't get that out for anything from fabric.

Well I’m a dumpster diver and I dive bed bath and beyond where they spray paint everything and it’s the same and I can get the paint out and if there is a little paint that I can’t get out it doesn’t bother me!..they should of at least taken the ugg blanket!

Spray paint wouldn't show me down. DUVAT COVER. Though my mother is a quilters and we could easily cover that. In fact, my quilting guild could take those blankets & pillows and use them as inner bases for different projects- such as quilting for heros. The lining stuff can get expensive.

Anytime I have something spray painted or damaged I just dye it a new color. It's a great way to fix something that was even just stained by myself or the kids markers.

The waste of them destroying the dumpster items really breaks my heart. You probably could grab any pillows that are just sprayed, and recover them.

It’s disgusting how these greedy companies destroy items that people could use. I don’t steal. and I never feel bad about people stealing from stores because they will NEVER miss it. They consider dumpster diving as stealing, how is that possible!?!

Those hair brush things are Revlon Hot Tools hair styler which sells for about $60. If it was used and returned then it had hair on it and couldn’t be resold. I have one and love it. So sad that they paint everything. Thanks for keeping things out of the landfill. Your virtual friend Tami from CA.
