I am the same way. I like to burn low throw/unscented cheap candles for ambiance especially in wintertime when it’s so dark / days are short. I don’t think candle KZbinrs ever touch on this so that you for showing us some good picks from Michaels.

I appreciate that you share different candle companies along with their strengths and weaknesses. I’m still hoping to find that candle I smelled in Walmart before Christmas and regretfully left it there. I don’t go there often but when I finally do, I’ll be looking for it.✌️

I can't imagine customers paying full price or even half price for these candles, so everyone scoops them up on clearance. I'm sure they know this, so they want their customers to feel like they're getting a killer deal. 😀 If customers were buying them for throw, they wouldn't be repeat purchases.
