It always irks me that people don’t talk about the negative entropy in the world. Even Saylor is a bit confusing here with the “Lords of entropy” part. Truth is that most people are building things in the world, making order out of chaos, and yes, entropy is going in one direction and breaking things down, but there is life force and consciousness / force of will that is going in the opposite direction, holding things together, like the roots of a tree. Bitcoin just happens to be the most perfect negative entropy now. It doesn’t mean that everything else is just entropy, it’s relative

if you keep it on an exchange you can set up a beneficiary and it will pass to them same as any other asset such as stocks or real estate. if you self custody your bitcoin you simply leave your 24 word pass phrase (that only you know) to your heirs and they will have full control of the bitcoin. think of self custody as a locked safe. whoever you let know the combination to your locked safe has control of what's inside when you die

It’s easier to spend time in the market than to time the market. DCA in and DCA out. You can’t time the top or bottom but you can start selling and buying near them. When BTC gets over 100k this cycle it’s time to start taking profits and trimming bags. Whether that’s selling 40/60/80% of your holdings. 80% of your btc, 80% of your alts, etc. Whatever strategy makes you happy. But have an exit plan. Some ppl are gonna do this at 80k,90k,98k, etc. Just find your numbers and stick to them. Mine are 60-80% of holdings at 95-100k btc. Then the last 20-40% at 125/150k. At best I sell 80% at 100k and sell the last 20% later. Or bag hold to 0. Worst case I sell 80% and we pump harder and I still have 20% more to sell that’s up even higher. Hard to lose when you take profits off the table. There is going to be another halving, another cycle, another bear market. Don’t marry your bags, don’t make it your identity, be ready to sell and rotate.

There are two other local conferences - Chaincamp and Cryptobyte - and they also issue their content on KZbin gradually. No livestreams. We'll see if they change this policy the next year. Respectfully disagree. Einstein did certainly use straightforward communication. His approach was the polar opposite from Saylor. Have listened to approx 100 hours of Saylor. Never once have I heard him explain how Bitcoin works. Not once. What we get here is the usual menu of bromides, esoterics, and slogans. Indeed, have you / we ever once heard him explain how Bitcoin plans to raise the (approx) $25 - $30 Million per day needed to pay for sufficient mining activity ? Once ? He continually extols the virtue of holding your assets self-sovereign, all while promoting the use of 3rd party custodians : Lightspark, CashApp, Strike, etc. And 90% of Lightning usage - which is also 3rd party trusted custodians. He pays lip service to “N Y K - N Y C” but what does he promote, in truth ? The polar opposite : trusted custodians. The very thing that Bitcoin was meant to solve for. The real question : why does the Bitcoin community let him get away with it ? Why no pushback ?

Don't be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you're investing in great companies. kudos to SUSAN OWEN
