@@kittendkat5100 He’s more into the fundamental nature of crypto not into the technical aspects that differentiates singular cryptocurrencies to become worldwide adoptable. There are thousands of cryptocurrency’s and as an investor you cannot know all the minute details of each one , so Michael Saylor breaks it down fundamentally and discovered bitcoin to be the most therefoe investing in it. To ask him a question as what is the second best or more likely to succeed is quite unfair because he would have to know all the technical details of every cryptocurrency to give a correct answer. I’m actually defending him because nobody could answer that question without knowing all the technical aspects of all the cryptocurrency’s.

@@Evanderj When the internet was built privacy wasn't really a consideration. Hence today why we have such an issue with surveillance on the internet. We can use all the encryption tools we want on top of the internet (TOR, pgp, etc) but will never achieve what an encrypted base-layer could. Apply this to crypto. You can use whatever tools on top (mixers, Wasabi, coinjoin) of crypto that you want to increase privacy...but inevitably they will never be as strong as what an encrypted base layer coin can provide. Why Monero specifically and not other privacy coins? Because it actually works. The IRS doesn't have a $700,000 bounty on Monero's head for nothing.

Unfortunately for your agument, Chainlink not only offers a decentralized oracle network and interoperability, but also data feeds, VRF, keepers, proof of reserves, DECO, and whatever the geniuses over at CL come up with in the coming years. And it already secures over $70b. A lot of DeFi 's success and stability can be attributed to chainlink. To say it's "thoroughly outmatched by Quant" is patently false.

Dodge coin in inflationary by something like 5% per year. Eth through the new mechanism is meant to be deflationary. Come to think of it illuvium has a burn mechanism when people claim and spend Silv2 of land or illuvitars, so it's actually deflationary. If you don't know what a word means please don't just through it around and start spreading lies.

Doge inflates a set max coin mint of about 5 billion per year through POW. Thus today it’s inflation rate is around 3.7% vs it’s supply if 138 billion. As time goes the inflation rate as a percentage actually decreases because it’s set mint of 5 billion coins per year vs the total in circulation. Just want to clear that up for anyone that doesn’t understand Doge.

Dogecoin is valuable insofar that it continues to grow by people USING it (Not by people Holding it)! The difference is that Bitcoin is inherently valuable by its digital creation, it is IMMEDIATELY valuable, And it becomes MORE Valuable as more hold it. Stable coins still gonna need a decentralized platform to run on it, and the most valid option is Cardano which shares robustness, philosophy, monetary policy and accounting model with BTC . You don’t want to run it on something centralized and VC owned like avax, or very expensive as eth.

Moreover, Cardano aims to become decentralized on governance level next year and is one of the few projects taking governance seriously, see catalyst voting and treasury being already implemented. We should remember that early BTC was also quite centralized on governance and block production level with initially only satoshi and very few miners mining it, and having the hash power to make all changes they wanted

No, the effect will be the opposite of this. Why? As USDT crashes, people will flee out of it into any other coin they can get their hands on. Holders of Tether will be buying BTC at a major premium just to get out. When Mt Gox went down, we saw a similar phenomenon with BTC on Gox versus BTC off Gox. If you're holding Tether in a world with far better stablecoin options (USDC, Gemini Dollar) you deserve to lose it the same way the idiots that left their coins on Mt Gox had SO MANY WARNING SIGNS and ignored them.
