Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

I understand not being upset by people, things, circumstances outside of myself…but how do I handle body ailments, illness, pain in body?

Acceptance, observing without judgement. Easier said than done. Vipassana meditation has been helping me, along with various other healing modalities. We all will die and experience pain and decay, some Of us get to practice accepting this earlier than others.

You start by not adding new blockages. Then slowly, the old blockages will begin to come up and you relax and release through them. Eventually, the bigger stuff will come up. You won't handle it perfectly, but every little progress builds upon itself. Until one day, you'll notice a big change has occurred.
