I’ve always enjoyed R.E.M. but never realized what a soft spoken gentle soul Stipe is. Might just pull out those old albums and give them a new listen.

The way Michael shakes Stephen's hand and clasps with BOTH of his hands. Not gonna lie.. I teared up just at his generosity of spirit. A beautiful, beautiful being he is.

@@jeanettemac6214 I think the glow and the happiness is relatively newly found. He doesn't seem as cranky and engimatic as in the "olden days." He strikes me as someone that has truly found a level of zen that he didn't have before like the whole world was lifted off his shoulders.

Absolutely. I used to follow REM like the Grateful Dead. The energy buzzing in the crowd before they came on was tangible, and Michael just was a light, good vibrations just radiated from him. Miss them so much, but totally respect that they will never play together again.💜

Extinction Rebellion demands 1. Government and media to tell the truth of the climate/existential crisis 2. Act accordingly, stop all fossil fuel research and extraction, focus on clean energy projects 3. Create a citizen's assembly to oversee and work with the government's of the world
