Oh I loved this. I too was brought up without hate. My brother brought people home from college to stay the night or summer. My dad brought boys home for a home cooked meal from the base he worked. If people made fun of me I never knew it. You see I didn't understand what they were saying, I was confused. One friend said don't you know they are making fun of you and I didn't understand why. I'm 71 and I still don't know why, praise the Lord! 🌱

Thanks for posting the video! There's definitely a strong family resemblance. The first time I saw Lynda on one of the Gaither videos, I was almost 100 percent sure that she was Michael's sister. Such a talented family! For what it's worth, I had a chance to meet their dad back in 1995 after a DC Talk concert in the Woodlands (TX). After meeting the guys backstage, I sat down and ended up talking with an older black gentleman. We probably talked for 20 minutes before I asked his name and then realized I was talking with "Nate Tait." Wow! That was a day I'll never forget.

Good point about proverbs 22:6. In the literal Hebrew it's train a lad according to his way indeed when he will cause to age he will not turn aside from it. The Hebrew noun Derek means way and it has the masculine singular vav suffix attached to it meaning his way so it's meaning is one must keep in mind when training a lad the personality and inclinations of the child like interests and temperament and the talents of the child
