vick is recruiting the 757. i don't think yall know how much talent we lose to PWIs, he's is an example of that. the amount of young men that we can bring in from tidewater alone should make us relevant year 1

I love Michael Vick but is no one thinking about how he's getting hired with no college degree. How can you coach a team of college students without having your degree? Especially at an hbcu. This is the reason Deion wasn't hired at FSU or TCU. Prime was not officially hired at JSU until 1 month after his graduation from Tugaloo. I'm a former student athlete and have worked in college Athletics at an hbcu and a power 5 school. It's an unwritten rule that you need to have a master's degree to be a coach. I want to see NSU win but at what cost? Our mission at hbcus is far bigger than football and what message does this send to the current team, recruits, and their families to play for a coach that hasn't earned his degree. We gotta think about the bigger picture my people.

I would be even more upset if it was a white man that got hired without a degree. Also, I was just pointing out a fact about Deon not getting hired. If you go back and look at the comment, I also alluded to him earning his degree one month before getting hired at Jackson state. That also means that Jackson State would not have hired him without a degree. Again, I want to see Norfolk win but the bigger picture is not just about football. Debate me or call me a hater, but facts are facts. And it wasn't about a standard of Deion getting hired at a pwi again, also wanted to point out that no University does this.
