When he mentions the wands being so short in some of the non-character, non-interactive wands, I had to smile. In the books and on Pottermore the wands were described as much shorter. Wands are generally "in the range of between nine and fourteen inches". (Pottermore wand lengths and flexibility) Most wands sold now would be considered unusually long.

A great series indeed! First time seeing the Cursed Child wands - I did like Harry's but have to see Ron and Hermione's now. Lots of non licensed wands available (which many are really very good replicas) but when you are buying from someone how do you check - do they simply show the stamped logo on the wand? Anyway just curious as the box is not always the best indicator. Which wands are next on your list?

This whole time I thought I had a Holly wand for years but this video proved to me that my wand is undoubtedly a Vine wand, exactly like the video. I bought it in 2016 at Universal Hollywood. The unique interactive wands are meant to weather. They’re supposed to respond to your oils so that they all look different.

No, they do not sell Ollivander's or Charlie's wands. Ollivander was never given a wand to hold in the film, so no wand seems to be have been made specifically for him. Since Charlie never showed up as a character in the films (the Weasley postcard from Egypt doesn't count), they never made a wand for him either. All of the other Weasey's have wands, though!

I love wands. I had 4: Harry's, Voldemort's, Death Eater Snake and the Elder Wand. I lost the Elder Wand (irpnic). Just kidding, I gave it away. However, these videos helped me to decide which ones I would very much like to buy. I think it's unfortunate that there's no licensed replica of Harty's first wand design. Like, there're a few replicas of the second wand he tried on in The Philosopher's Stone, but not his actual wand.

I feel like there are too many "dark" designs for the Ollivander "birthday" wands. How bummed would you be as a child to be given a wand with a skull on it because that is what lines up with your birthday? Have 13 "neutral" designs and then the 4 "evil" designs that you could get if you wanted to be dark wizard or witch.

If I got a wand from Orlando or whatever, I'd want the non interactive wands. The interactive ones only serve a purpose in the park, so when you leave, you just have a wand with an unpleasant sensor tip on it. But they seriously don't sell non interactive wands that aren't character wands anymore? Edit: On second thought, maybe I'll just stick with the character wands. Most of those designs don't look very good to me.
