I have just discovered this guy, and he’s amazing.

He was basically the 'It' boy of 80s and 90s British musical theatre. He had boyish good looks, charisma and a show stopping voice. He starred in everything from Les Mis (he was the first British Marius), Aspects of Love, Phantom Of The Opera, Chess (he originated the lead role both in London and Broadway), Sweeney Todd, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Hairspray. He also has 4 UK no.1 albums, and the song 'Love Changes Everything', from Chess, made him a household name.
