The talk on racism was great. That line in the Godfather always haunted me, but it's based on reality especially seeing the crack epidemic; and the implicit acceptance of devastating those communities from law enforcement down to the drug dealers and everybody in between, including the mob. The nickname story is great. There was a 10 year old kid, in my neighborhood, that got a haircut and it look like peach fuzz to one of our friends, so he called him Peach. He is a grown man now and people still call him Peach. And as I'm thinking about it, I still can't remember his real first name. I just call him Peach :)

My father working in a pizza shop in the late 80s with italians (hes hispanic) he really enjoyed his time there and had good times with some of the guys there and he always told me that the italians are the most democratic/respectful people you'll ever meet. Racism exists in ever race, not just in whites I've seen latinos being racist towards asians and blacks and vice versa, racism is taught not inherited.

That's cool, but that was HIS experience and that last part doesn't really mean anything---we already know racism exists in every race, so what's your point? Only one race has ever been able to use race as a weapon to maintain control and power historically. Look up Yusef Hawkins sometime. I bet he would disagree with you on some of your points.

@@theshoestringstrangla5547 have you been to the north east??? It's not as racist as it once was 50 years ago, I know lots of friends n family living over there they're democratic states and most of the italian politicians there are for immigration n dont agree with a wall. Ofc there are racists who evry race has racists in them, racism is taught like I said.

Michael, I'm with you on the Fear vs Love debate. I can't remember the specific historical attribution, but it goes, like this: Two Roman generals were discussing military command.
