Never knew much about the brothers. I have been listening to Mr. Franzese quite a bit and saw this episode. The only thing I have seen about the Tate brothers are the news articles, memes, and a couple of pictures, all without context made by some other account or person on the internet. This talk gave me a lot of perspective about both of them. I personally don't idealize anyone, or put anyone on pedestals, but I see why people do that with the Tate brothers. Very direct, strong, and knowledgeable people.

What we are witnessing is here is that 2 very well put together OG's sharing war stories and speaking with so much wisdom. Michael Franzese comes from the best generation of the 20th century and the Tate brothers are the last of their kinds in the 21st century. Listen to these guys very carefully because there won't be any other men like this after these guys are gone. I grew up around this culture between FL and NY. I’m a 44 year old woman from London UK. I’ve watched many Tate interviews and couldn’t figure out why I connect with them and now I know it’s the family / sibling values. I too have a brother who is 6 years younger than me and we’ve never argued or had a fight. We were raised to respect, value, cherish and support each other! When we were kids and would disagree (which is different to arguing) our parents would make us sit on the floor (on the rug) and face each other and talk it through respectfully and with our parents guidance. I was taught to love and respect my brother as the boy/man he was becoming and give him room to lead as my brother and my protector. He was taught to understand my sensitives as a girl/woman and taught the love/care I needed and that he is my protector. I say all this to say, I totally get when Tristan says he doesn’t understand how people don’t speak or get on with their siblings etc I too don’t understood what he was saying i don’t get it either as I’ve never experienced it and more importantly my parents did not allow it when we were kids and still would not allow it till this day. I’m 44 my brother is 38, I’m so thankful for how we were raised me and my bro are solid 💪🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽❤️💙
