Actually it's more about the frequency of uploads than the choice of creating ambiences and music. I've spoken with a few composer friends who range from 400k to 900k subs, and they all say that now, subs are not related to quality, but mainly to frequency and regularity of uploads. And since I've been very irregular in the frequency of my uploads in the past 8 years, that explains why I've had so few subs until now. If I wanted to have more subscribers, I shouldn't have focused on quality but on quantity, like many did. I would have 100k subs. But to be honest I don't give a f*, at least I can be proud of what this community and I have built together over the years :)
