I completely agree with you, when I found out about Michael, I wanted to understand him so much, because the media and the people behind it made a monster out of him. I broke down the other night at work listening to this song, the line that always makes me break is “before you judge me, try hard to love me” I had to switch the song after that line because of I was about to be in full sobs. With that line, he begged for the people who ridiculed him to give him a chance. He was such a pure/sweet soul and I hate how the media treated him the last two decades of his life.
