A Walk Around Descanso Beach, Catalina Island

I only know this little paradise from movie, film and tv. a far away drew for me looks as good as in my imagination , even better and more beautiful actually. youtube and channels like this are a real blessing for people like me who can't go to these magnificent places in persons and can only dream of them. this helps a lot. hello and greetings from russia.

One of my favorite spots on earth! Got married there 10 years ago and are going back this sept for our anniversary! Looks like quite a bit has changed. We got married on a stage that was on the grass with the bay and palms behind us! Beautiful!

Beautiful, I have mixed feelings about the cruise ship. If I owned a business on the island the ship[s] would be a blessing, as a tourist dealing with hordes of people my attitude would be less charitable. Greetings from Texas, been away from SoCal a long time. Thanks for taking me back in your videos. Great job as always.

Thank you so much for not adding music to this which regretfully most KZbinrs do when most of us really just want to see an interesting place and not have music dubbed over the sound of the wind and the sea ... I think it would have been irritating though to be there and try to relax and hearing the music from the bar but it seems like maybe there are some places there that were far enough from the bar that you could still be on the beach and not have to listen to that constantly

gardensofthegods ...I used to be one of those guys, who added music. Then I realized I don’t get the ad dollars. The person who composed the song got all of it. I immediately stopped adding music. Except with Christmas videos...I always have to add on Xmas music. Screw the ad dollars.

Do you know what the name of the little shop is there? 2 years ago I went and bought a bracelet from them and I loved it so much that I wore it almost everyday. But it just recently broke! :( so I have been looking everywhere for a replica, but I can't find a similar one anywhere!

No. Open to public. But mostly cruise ship people. When a cruise ship is in port.

Do rsvps need to be made to just eat at the restaurant or use there beach? How does this work?

Not at the time I was there. There are times when cruise ships bring 3000 people to Avalon. Then, everything is packed to the nines. But, otherwise no, it’s just a sleepy little village otherwise.
