I’m in high school and it’s been my dream to go to Norte dame since 2nd grade. This video and your freshman year video remind me of why I want to go there. Go Irish

I’m a Latino and I really want to go to ND and well I’m just scared of being different over there you know, I’ll be like the only darker kid over there. I know I shouldn’t care about being darker or anything like that but do you think people are that friendly over there that they’ll accept you no matter skin color u are.

josue ramirez hey brother, I’m about to be a freshman and I’m not a minority so I can’t speak to the experience, but I know that ND’s black and Hispanic graduation rate is one of the highest in the country (like Top 3) so I’m sure they feel the sense of community as well. Also ND does have a significant Hispanic American population (similar to other elite schools) so idt that would be a big problem. I just had my Zoom meeting for freshmen at my dorm hall and all the Welcome Captains seemed to have a really strong bond even though they were diverse in appearance. Just my two cents, I hope that helps :)
