The centurions ost music was awesome, so was the animation. It was one of my favorite 80s cartoons, along with MASK and ,bionic six .

Great video Michael, the cancelled wave of Centurions figures has always been of interest to me like many toylines that have figures, vehicles or playsets dropped for numerous reasons. However, one piece of Centurions trivia that not many people are aware of is that there seems to have been a planned sixth member of the team, possibly for inclusion in the 1987 wave and was going to be relative of Ace McCloud's named Vic McCould and his speciality was supposedly going to be space related. He was listed as "Under Consideration" so he might not of made it. Interestingly, the release sheet with shows Vic McCloud also shows both Rex and John, though Rex has an early name of Rex Powers and John's Assault Weapon Thunder Knife had the unused name of 'Slash Bash'. Vic also had two proposed Assault Weapon Systems designed for him but they both didn't have a name. We know that Rex and John had plenty of prototypes produced of them, but I wonder if Vic had anything developed of him.

Thank you. I remember hearing about Vic McCloud years ago. The Centurions wiki has a concept sketch of him: centurions.fandom.com/wiki/Vic_McCloud

Wow, Michael!!! You did another video on Centurions: Power Xtreme, which is grossly underrated and underappreciated!!! They came out as back cover illustration at the back of the MASK comic book!!! Hi Micheal, great video about The Powerful & Extremely Non-Existent History of The Centurions Unproduced Toys,Keep them coming, Also your latest video was magnificent, Awesome! You even addressed the episode order regarding the new Centurions here! You successfully integrate the clips flawlessly where appropriate. In all your videos You either have an incredible memory or a heck of a note talking system. That's how I figured you might be the one to ask! Also the New Centurions Rex Charger and John Thunder are two of my favorite Centurions of all time, Also "Rex Charger and "John Thunder" are pretty much the greatest character names of all time.🙂 Also I thank Ramen Toys for bringing me into the fold with their excellent versions. Aw man, what 2 fantastic but incredible videos, All I can say is thank you so much, I am too so bummed that all of these toys are so hard and so expensive to get now and also mostly broken and B, that they never released the ones from this lot, or at least many of them. Thank goodness for 3p offerings, long may they continue for what I really think was one of the hidden gems of the 1980's, Also the Centurions is one of my favorite Cartoon Shows of all time, I not only like but I also love the Cartoon as well, also incredible mention of the Centurions Wiki, Also as of 2023 I still not only like but love Big Lob(movie characters) from G.I. Joe the Movie.Lob is one of my favorite G.I. Joe Characters of all time, Also it would be great to hear more on Obscure Characters later this year. Awesome Micheal You did another video on Centurions this past Saturday. Power Xtreme, which is grossly underrated and underappreciated! They came out as back cover illustration at the back of the MASK Comic book! Keep going bro, maybe you can merge video with Rodimus Primal and MMPR Toy store they love something Challenging! Also I love the quality of all your videos,Also I still remember the cartoon from what it aired originally and I remember those characters when they were shown on those episodes aired too. Also the following information is from the Centurions Wiki they are: Rex Charger who is a member of The Centurions and serves as the team's alternative energy specialist. Also Gender:(as of 2023):Male,Race:(as of 2023):Human,Faction:(as of 2023):The Centurions, Status:(as of 2023):alive,1st appearance/episode: Chronologically Man Or Machine(Part 2),Voiced by: Bob Ridgeley, Assault Weapons Systems: 1.Electro-Charger, 2.Gatling Guard, & 2. John Thunder, John Thunder or should I say John is a member of The Centurions, and serves as the team's covert operations specialist. He's a stealth and espionage expert who uses his skills to silently infiltrate enemy territory. John is also a Native American specifically a full- blooded Chiracahua Apache, and a direct descendant of Geronimo. In addition to his two weapons systems. John Thunder utilizes Non- Cybernetic Weapons: A Vibro-Knife used in self defense. & 2. A part of electromagnetic gloves used to climb walls and ceilings to observe or evade while infiltrating. Gender:(as of 2023):Male,Race:(as of 2023):Human,Faction:(as of 2023): The Centurions, Status:(as of 2023): Alive, 1st Appearance/Episode: Chronologically: Man Or Machine(Part 1),Voiced by Michael Bell, Assault Weapons Systems: 1.Silent Arrow,2. Okay so, continuing the "Centurions being based on celebrity likeness". I'm pretty sure Rex Charger's likeness is taken from Chuck Norris. he has the hair, the beard, and the nose. As to what movie to be specific, dunno. As for John Thunder, I'm equally clueless, based on the time frame. If anyone could help, I'd be grateful. All in all, cool vid!

I honestly think if the villains in the first series of the toy line weren't so lame, the Centurions would have succeeded. With the exception of the jet drone, they were very ugly unappealing toys. Those second wave ones, however, were better.

The rex guy seems like a direct rip off of iron man. I wonder if the centurions were originally going to be a "iron man squad" and marvel turned it down. Or maybe marvel pitched the idea and kenner "borrowed" it. Love the channel.
