Definitely one of the stranger races, Michael! One thing I forgot to mention in this game (which technically isn't related to the actual gameplay itself) is that if you restart the replay more than once, like if you wanted to created a thumbnail at a certain point, your car will randomly crash at some point during the replay! It doesn't affect your finishing position (at least in the PS2 version) after the race, but it is an interesting glitch this game has!

It’s based off their KMart Sponsorship very early in the season until KMart filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy which caused Travis Carter to lose the sponsorship sending Nemechek back to the Busch Series until Hendrick had him replace Nadeau in the #25 after Richmond for underperforming while the #26 was reincarnated with Discover Card sponsorship for Bodine starting at Dover 3 weeks later. I’d like to point out that there are now like 5 timelines Our time line (the real one) Eutecnix original timeline 8x champ Jimmie timeline Jeff fails 2002 timeline (potentially a Robby Gordon championship with how that was going. And the Reset 2002 time line With the Eutecnix career (2013 - 2015) - along with potentially a 6th if Micheal redoes 2012-2015 and Jimmie wins a potential 9th championship. Or he resets it to 7 but Jimmie looses a cup from 12-15 So 7 possible timeline of events
