Michael you are such an inspiration to others and you work tirelessly to clean up our oceans and reunite owners with their lost jewelry. You need to have an apprentice to help you take care of all these recoveries. You can only do so much, in fact you do so much that you run yourself into the ground. In my opinion I don't think people would mind paying a little something to help pay for gas and your time. You should think about charging a little something to help pay for your equipment, time, and gas. Maybe the would start the ability of you to hire an assistant to help with the recoveries so you can do more of what you truly love cleaning up the oceans and treasure hunting in the water. Michael one thing I’d like to point out being a retired safety officer in the marine business, please be very very careful under docks of electrical shocks , some docks have bad wiring ! I saw you looking at the underside well , so I think you are aware . Don’t Hold on to any electrical conduit. Posted this as a reminder to everyone ! Stay safe !!

Thanks Berryteresa❤️ This past week has been action packed we have lost count how many people we helped over the last week👍👍 to be honest we have had some intense ocean recoveries that took longer than 2 hours each. I’m starting to feel the burn in my shoulders and hips or maybe that’s just my age catching up with me lol 😂 I didn’t get to see much of my family last week, made me a lil sad. If you had found something as sentimental as my wedding ring or one of my Mom’s rings I’d have such a very hard time during this pandemic not grabbing and hugging you as I jumped up and down! In a thrilled way of course not making a pass if you understand. I’m Texan and as a Southerner we are just naturally the hugger type!!! Some of the people even before the pandemic just didn’t appear as thrilled and excited as I would have been! Love the videos at the end of you playing with the boys. When do we get to see your beautiful wife? I’m sure she is just as kind and sweet as you are!

I will never understand why people even would wear any jewelry to the ocean, for a swim. For me,, when I go swimming/snorkling in the lakes here in Canada,.. I just can't chance wearing any jewelry , cause it takes a split second to lose.

I don't think Bunnings stocks the shovel anymore. Mitre 10 definitely does. Those shovels are great for what Michael does. Most of his jobs are shallow targets and the plastic avoids damage. I don't find them great for general metal detecting though, where the targets can be quite deep.
