The wide angle of the waterfall from within the stream, but any PS tricks to restore the waterfall to its proper prominence that the wide angle minimizes?
@Frederic38360 Жыл бұрын
Difficult choice but I would say the photos taken handheld and framed with the ferns and some with long exposure.
@stefansandmeier2080 Жыл бұрын
Those waterfall shots with the ferns were stellar, but for me, these majestic trees and reflections in the river at the end take the crown. But frankly, I loved all of these shots - what a fantastic location!

Thanks so much man, I really appreciate it! Agreed, I went into this shoot with the intention of taking one or two shots of the falls. But came away with a very unexpected variety of images!

I've always loved this spot. Usually quiet too because of that road. I'd love to shoot it during a big freeze with ya.

Been visiting this spot since I was a teen , back in my film days . Still get up there every few years . Haven't done the winter scene yet but it's on my list and not getting any younger ! Would have to be a hellacious scramble down in .

This is one of your best videos you’ve made, Michael. Such a beautiful location with such variety of compositions even on the way forth and back. Here every photographer can learn something - great. Enough photos for a small but amazing photo book 😄👍🏼

Watching this makes me realize that it is so easy to take a half dozen shots from the front and think we've got everything. You just showed us is there is much more if we would take the time to slow down, absorb it all and think deeply about all the alternatives. Great video Michael!

Great video - love all of the images - especially the early tight shots of the waterfall (my preference is for the faster shutter speed) and the images of the forest with the light in the distance are stunning - so peaceful !!! Thanks for all your inspiration and instruction !!

What a great example of how to work a scene. You really tried a variety of angles, focal lengths, exposures and moved around in a fairly small area. I think many of us are not that patient to stay in one place. We feel like we might miss something and as a result we end up with average images. Thanks for the reminder of how to work a scene.
