Amigo, Flair doesn't mean just to throw bottles and shaker tins. It involves much more than that. It starts with paying attention to the customer's needs and it finishes with a few nice tricks to make the cocktail preparation more entertaining. As you said: style, elegance , positive energy makes good flair. Vaya con Dios !
@djdestroyer11 жыл бұрын
That was a solid shake; top to bottom with a little bit of style and grace. You'll also notice it allowed for the perfect amount of dilution so that the final drink did not overlow. I'm also going to go out and guess that he poured the pearls like that for the video and doesn't actually do that in his bar.

What were those "silver pearls”?
@ramoage1510 жыл бұрын
okay..so the glitter is edible but what about the silver pearls? seems like i'd choke to death with the straw
@YohanPenny10 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure the pearls are edible, sir.
@eberbacher0078 жыл бұрын
+Sean Nguyen guess they are sugar pearls although if this drink would be given to a really slow drinker, she would end up with sugar slush at the bottom, once these pearls start to dissolve
@CGoody5647 жыл бұрын
eberbacher007 they are edible; not food. They are not made of sugar. They are edible as in you can eat them; not as in you'll digest them, the same way that pure gold flakes are edible; they aren't specifically meant to be eaten; it simply isn't harmful to do so. As for the person saying they'll choke to death, that's just moronic. They are clearly small enough that they wouldn't get lodged anywhere going down, and drinking some through a straw would pose absolutely no danger.

I like the drink.. Nice ingredients and a nice concept. What I don't like is the silver pearls. When they come in contact with liquid they tend to lose their outer "layer" of the silver making them A) Dreadful to look at and B) the substanse goes into the drink. Besides that, splendid!

The irony that people mock time taken to create a cocktail yet quite happily sit through a two hour film when the synopsis could take all of 5 mins to explain.

Don't worry - most likely Americans who cannot appreciate the technique, culture, level of mastery and care that goes into... well, pretty much anything that isn't instant gratification.

Observe a fundamental principle in the comments to this video: the male of the bogan/hillbilly species observes a piece of culture he does not understand - in order to recover from his resultant insecurity of ego he resorts to unfounded and poorly constructed insult. The result, is his comment going noticed only by other equally confused bogans - the attention from whom he finds endearing. Sadly, consorting with bogans does nothing for improving the bogan's understanding of said culture.

everything you said it's ok for me except the part with''a Real bartender doesn't use oz...''i'm sorry but the american tecnique(more than just counting) is more accurate than the european tecnique measurements(in seconds)...and in the end using the oz and the tecnical measurments at the end of the day you will had make a lots of cocktails with more precise dose and you will feel free to empty your mind and can do multi tasking operations meanwhile the spirits fall in the glass...
