Adorno being the shorter guy should've pressed the action moving forward trying to get inside making it a rough fight & making Rivera fight backing up, instead he was jabbed all night & kept backing up making it easy for Rivera to win rounds. Adorno needs to learn to make adjustments while he's facing higher level guys.

Adorno should of kept the fight on the inside instead of trying to counter punch the faster, taller fighter. Fight on the inside high Guard head movement at angle a lot of body work then finish at up top.

The commentating for this particular fight with Abner Mares, Barry Tomkins and al Bernstein was terrible. Adorna was clearly being outboxed and losing the fight at least 6-2 or 7-1 after rd 8 with no chance to win, yet these dudes were steady talking about adoras 1 or 2 landed punches each round and how he could possibly win the fight if maybe some judges saw it the other way. This ridiculous 1 sided commentating is part of why HBO deserved to go down the toilet.

Rivera is good, and i have no doubt he will continue to improve, however he has not fought anyone in the top 10. Loma on the other hand, his last 2 wins against Nakatani and Commey who both are ranked in the top 15, are better then this win Rivera had against Adorno who was another up and comer like Rivera is and was not in the top 20. You have to look at the resume of the fighters and the recent opponents they have fought in order to rank them. Not just cause 1 is undefeated and the other one isn't does that mean that they automatically will be ranked ahead of them like the case here with Rivera and Loma.
