Bravissimo ! What a splendor, splendidly sung ! This first aria of Agobar is preceded by an enchanting march, like all this opera, whose theme is taken here by the choir accompanying Agobar. We understand why such a succes at the time. We will never be enough grateful that this resurrection took place. In Act 2 the aria "Le dirai ch'io serbo ancora... Di liete immagini" is just as beautiful and spectacular as this one. And the death of Agobar and Ezilda, just after, ending the opera is an emotional peak. Amazing music.

Dear Michele, I erased alas the answers by error and particularly your kind and interesting answer. All my apologies ! Maybe could you please add it again ? About the aria of act 2 I can tell that even if great singers are rarely satisfied, the result was wonderful. You were the first to dare sing the inchantable: you can it! ... until this death of Agobar really dying ... It is a great privilege to have attended this performance! Pacini requires both Olympic technique AND emotion. You gave both! I hope to hear you again in this role ...and others ... Niobe? Lorenzino de'Medici? Others? Many thanks again so much to you!
