For the old RE's without ABS if being used with a Michelin tyre provides better braking and stability then i think everyone should consider it. And i don't think for a RE rider the millage matters. Very Informative video.

Being a soft compound tyre , it has more chances of getting puncture, since I am also using rims and not alloys , so what would be best for me ? MRF Nylogrip 19 3.50 or Michelin sirac Street 19 3.50 ?

Hello sir, as of now I haven’t faced any puncturing issue . Daily I have to off-road for 5 kms to reach my nearest town . I have used both the tyres for about 8 k kilometres now . Till now no puncturing issue . I am maintaining proper tyre pressure. But one thing is for sure tyre is wearing out pretty fast . May be max I can use it for 15/18 thousand kms . But grip is excellent. Especially front tyre will not loose grip even on hard and emergency braking . But being soft compound tyre as you said , may be going forward even I may face puncturing issue . About MRF NYLOGRIP , you will get excellent tyre mileage and definitely you won’t face puncturing issue . But being hard compound tyre it will loose grip easily on emergency braking. Apart from that if you are fond of vintage real Bullet look you can choose for nylogrip because it really gives your bike a proper vintage look . I have used this tyre personally . Sir as per my observation MRF is more durable but the road grip is less since it is a hard compound tyre . But ceat offers little more grip since it a soft compound tyre but the durability is little less .

Excellent. In my Pulsar 150, Front tyre, I am using Michelin Sirac street 2.75-18(same tread pattern as shown in video for front tyre of RE). The tyre is radial and bulges out so even it is 2.75-18 yet it provides grip like my earlier mrf zapper 80/100- 18 tyre.

Tyre chennagide sir , no puncturing issues, nodi clear aagi helbeku andre Michelin is soft compound tyre so grip jaasti aadre tyre life kammi , nange adu okay because nandu limited usage only weekend ride etc . Nimge daily use and tyre mileage jaasti beku andre mrf or ceat is good . But swalpa tyre hard irutte . Nandu fiero dalli ceat use maadta iddeeni , now i feel it’s superior to mrf and Michelin. Bhai , I will explain in English, I can’t speak Hindi fluently like you ... front tyre Bullet and electra mei original aaTa hei na rib pattern , I am not speaking about classics front zapper tyre . Only Bullet and electra ka ribbed pattern, compared to that Michelin sirac street has less life bhai . My personal experience. But on the other hand excellent grip is guaranteed on Michelin that to while breaking with disc break setup front end will not loose traction. And regarding back tyre :- Original MRF old type 19 inch tyre has got more life than Michelin but very less grip when compared to Michelin . But now we get 19 inch tyre from ceat by the name secure sport .. It has very less life compared to Michelin. Also MRF zapper and MRF metior had less life I agree with you on that . But it all depends on the thread pattern we select. And as you said tyre is little heavy that is true.
