She's certainly in good company with the likes of the Black Keys, Natalie Merchant, Emmylou Harris, k.d. Lang, Robert Plant, Iron and Wine, Shawn Colvin, etc. "Hopeless Romantic" was released on Verve Records, which is a Universal Music imprint -- obviously that was just a one-time setup. Nonesuch could be a really great home for her, primarily because they have a reputation for completely allowing the artists to sit in the driver's seat, as opposed to constantly shelving material.
