Absolutely steller writing and acting , i thought pippa haywood was slightly unhinged in the Brittas Empire until i watched this , Mark Heap is in a league of his own and Michelle Gomez is hysterically funny.

My favourite comedy after some Monty Python. But Ian Hyland described it as, "people not wanting clever, clever comedy, but just wanting to be entertained" ... Ian who? I, myself, think it's one of the cleverest comedies I've ever seen, because of its entertainment value. Even the last episode, which totally jumped the shark as I've never seen it done before, proved it WAS clever, clever, entertaining, funny, genuine comedy!
