You know what I'm starting to realize: Beyonce wanted the superstar life. It sucks that colorism exists but there wouldn't be Beyonce without Destiny's Child. Michelle, Kelly, and Beyonce are legends period. Kelly could have been Donna Summer if "motivation" didn't mess her up but they seem OK. We gotta understand that Kelly and Michelle will always be apart of Beyonce's legacy. Kelly and Michelle have legacy too. What 2 dark skinned black women can be remembered like they are. Now, I cry about them when I see them perform. If there a short DC3 concert/ surprise album, I'm there. Kelly has even said she wasn't ready to be a solo artist in the beginning and she had the first solo grammy period. What we need to work on is colorism as a community because you can't be what you can't see.
