In this case the person may just be innocently letting you know about it, without any ill intentions that would imply that you should not have done such a mistake as a KZbin channel specifically focused on English subject matter, based on that one excusable and understandable human error.

There are many malaysians who speak english as their first language at home and most of them also attend schools using English as the main /sole medium of instruction ( equivalent to intl school or private school) they speak heavily accented english just like the singaporeans; but it is their mother tongue, even though they are asians
