Headcanon: while Luz is oblivious, she also spent her whole life up to this point with no friends (D:) so it’s safe to assume she’s been rejected by crushes a fair amount. I think playing into her obliviousness is also probably some self-worth issues because if she’s spent her entire life as the weird outcast whomst no one likes then she’s probably convinced herself that there’s no way Amity (popular, talented, rich, smart, pretty) would like her. So she just ruthlessly rationalizes all signs to the contrary. I mean, this is a girl who reads and writes fanfiction- she knows how people act when they’re crushing on someone. Anyway, those are just my thoughts

This is one of my favorite ships, and I actually don't have many OTP's that are gay. For some reason...maybe it has to do with what I watch and they just happen to not have gay characters. HOWEVER, I love the breath of fresh air in this show and they characters are so genuine and they are both SO. FUCKING. CUTE.
