If I understand your question: charging ricoshot during rainstorm requires that you change bindings so that you don't use square both as part of rainstorm and as "shoot". Then you hold shoot while performing rainstorm to charge ricoshot, release rainstorm then release shoot and BAM. I have my keys bound with L1 and square reversed (L1 = shoot and square = evade1) and gun special bound to the down arrow on the d-pad. I also reversed triangle and circle because I find JCing easier like that.

Great joke. DMC5 Dante in melee moves alone has twice as many moves as DmC. You can be subjective about it, but DMC5's combat is way superior. So are DMC3 (especially Switch version) and DMC4, and by a huge distance too.

You can't with the default controls because shooting during rainstorm will cancel it and you can't charge because you're holding shoot to do rainstorm in the first place. You have to separate "gun special" and "shoot" so that they don't involve the same button in any way. That way charging ricoshot while doing rainstorm is simply a matter of holding both your assigned buttons. Personally I use very similar controls to what you find on the uploader comments.

As someone how played and grinded a bit on DMC1, DMC3, DMC4 and DmC (THE REBOOT) i have to say, combo wise the DMC3 mechanic is the most impressive of them all, followed by DMC4 Dante(only) and DMC reboot Vergil(only). I share the opinion that DMCreboot's Dante sucks ass but i kinda love the DmC Vergil. He looks like he can still be saved and his combo potential is immense and fun.

I can tell you what I use and why which should make it easier to find a binding set that works for you. I reverse L1 and square (L1 =shoot and square = evade) and bound guns speicial (rainstorm etc.) to the d-pad down arrow. You need to separate shoot and gun special in order to charge guns while using gun special. What this gives is a left hand that holds buttons to charge and link combos giving my right hand time to input attacks, also reversed triangle and circle easier for me to JC.

I play in the pc. I can jump cancel very well with every weapon except for the kablooey. How did you get the timing perfectly after the fifth shot. Usually my enemy will get exploded by the gun or he will drop before i could do anything.

Can anyone help me out ? I've no problems with the jump cancels while switching weapons, but how do you keep the guns in buffer while doing all the different jump cancels ? I use an xbox 360 controller , so when I hold the X button(ebony/ivory) its physically impossible for me to use jump cancels !! ANY HELP PLEASE !!!
