I think women in my generation who became the first generation of a lot of single mothers found out thru this experience that there are in fact very bad men out there at a time when we were the most vulnerable, with tiny children. My generation of men were notorious for creating multiple families of children And the damage it did along the course of their life and the lives of the children of this train wreck is evident today. To me a good man is one who has my back and is there for my children. I am married now to a much younger man from a different generation than mine, but who grew up with the effects of a bad man in the house who abandoned them.

Are men so sensitive that we have to walk on egg shells about bringing up something he should have prioritized from the beginning… aka drinks for the party…. Men need to do better as a collective

Evidently we must “learn the skills” to make sure men never have to feel bad when they’ve been useless in a situation

The thing about men is WE need to learn how to get the MOST out of them by US being smart and knowing how to communicate in a way that they can hear and respond to us. WE can't leave things up to them be smart enough to know.

I heard a women’s dating coach say you should’t tell a man he’s handsome during the first months of talking/dating. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Would you tell a handsome man you find him handsome on a first date if he compliments you?
@NgG-g2n3 күн бұрын
if he compliments me I say "Thank you, I appreciate it" or "Thank you, I like that you think that" I would emphasize his intelligence, values or character over his looks sooooooooooo many men are putting 99% of their energy on their looks but not on their character
@aminaadam36172 күн бұрын
Yes,show him appreciation for the compliment.Comment on his look, shoes,shirt...I love that color,style of that (insert),a man that puts effort in his style/look.Always compliment something he had to put effort in.His looks may come natural but maintenance, style,scent takes effort.

You should not give anything to a man. (Attention, compliment, credit, trust, your body, your heart, your thoughts) Acknowledge a man on his efforts toward you. Ignore his feelings, his pressure to sex, his mind tests, his words, his future faking/ promises. Only ACTIONS are important.
