I love this! I could never figure out what to do with ribbon. I want to give it a shot. This year's tree is all brand new to match new living room decor. I have cast iron elements in the room, so the tree will have black accents along with white and natural/neutral color ornaments. There will also be some mixed metallics with bronze silver and gold. All this will be accented with hints of muted color from silk flowers, pink, blue and plum. She's a complex one, lol.

I’m trying to find lights like these right now. I believe they’re led fairly lights on green wire but I’m having trouble trying to find some that are grouped close together like those. Hope this helps others trying to find similar lights. Would love if the lights she used were in the description

Your tree and decor are so beautiful. I liked the tip on using an additional stand to decorate the top half of the tree. I put up at least 4 trees every year, three 9ft and one 10ft. and going up and down the ladder is brutal. This year I got a 12 ft. so this tip was definitely right on time. My boyfriend is a 7ft flocked white Xmas tree. That's how much I love Xmas. I was going to do chaser lights this year and this tree convinced me the lights would definitely be on point. I love the stick sprays at the top. The layered ribbon is a little too much work for me but it is beautiful. You are exceptionally talented and thx for the beautiful decor.

Very beautiful,I bought the same skirt it was like brand at thrift store for like 3.00 .then 2 years ago after Christmas I went to hobby lobby after Christmas and bought a new tree and wicker collar,well then I became a bunny mom 2 bunnies in my house and 3 in my living room porch,but the one in the house like to chew on collar so this year I took the fluffy white skirt and put it on the wicker collar,they even know it’s under there ,they like lay around the Christmas tree .i love decorating ❤❤❤❤

So beautiful! Tip about adding ribbon! You can add ribbon at any stage or even multiple stages. When you add it will control how prominent it is. If you add it early in the process the less prominent it will be and vice versa.

I don't have blue in my decor or blue ornaments but wrap a SMALL string of SUBTLE blue lights INSIDE, right next to the trunk only, with regular warm white lights everywhere else. It gives the tree an ethereal, cosmic dimension.

For those looking for lights like these I think I’ve found what type…. I thought they were fairy string lights due to the size but I from what I learned so far I think they’re CLUSTER LIGHTS. BEST OF LUCK N HAPPY DECORATING! Thnx for the tutorial dear

Yes they are ‘Designers Excellence’ brand cluster lights. The exact size and color I have I couldn’t find on Amazon but have a similar ones linked in the description.

Thank you for the tips, especially about having an extra stand to decorate as I am the only one that puts the tree up or takes it down in a family of 4... anyway I do enjoy it, but I'm not very tall and have trouble when doing lights and the top of the tree. Being over 60 I still love this time of the year and have gone through various themes but at the moment I'm sticking to pastel pink, gold and silver, on a flocked tree. Love your video! I worked at a home improvement store that sells artificial and real Christmas trees. While I got to set the trees up and fluff out the branches, I never got to actually decorate the trees. Everything in this store was plan-o-grammed a certain way and they usually had the afternoon crew decorate but this was after I went home so I never got to see how they did it. Good video...thank you I use bungee cords to keep the branches I am not fluffing out of the way. I really like the way you layered the ribbon. My theme this year is Fiesta...bright and colorful. Using serape as tree skirt and making bright felt embroidered ornaments.

Your tree is so beautiful 🤩 My favorite tip from you is to decorate the top part of your tree before connecting it to the middle section. My primary colors are always silver and white because they match everything and my special color is purple and maybe a few pieces of lavender. Thanks Janet! I used 3 boxes of 25ft and one box of 10ft but probably needed more. I have a 12ft slim tree. So I would recommend around 75ft of lights but you could always start with less and get more if needed.
