My word for 2023 is Heal! I lost my husband last year. He was ill for 3 months before he passed. I’ve started therapy and am on medication but I want to get off medication. Dealing with his death, figuring out life without him and learning who I am now are literally my only goals for this year

Heyyyy boo, Determination is my word. You know we as parents forget how to live after we have a little one, and don’t focus on us anymore. We have to take time to ourselves to be ourselves. I have had a couple surgeries. I have been out of work since November. My daughter was talking about hiring someone to clean. I asked if I could be that someone… well I have been cleaning her house since November and if not for that income I’d be hurting. Now no I don’t charge her as much as someone else But it’s enough to help me out. Now she is sad because physically therapist is talking about I may be released to go back to my job.

I got overwhelmed in 2017 or 2018, I honestly can't remember which. My BFF cleaned for a living and I asked her for help. It was the best decision of my life. She did an amazing job and made my life so much better. Skip to the big C when we didn't have anyone in our house, and along came cleaning videos!!! What a transformation! I was always a clean freak, but fell into a funk when I asked my friend to help. Then with what happened to the world, I had to pick it up again and am so happy to have found you and others that gave me the umph to accomplish it on my own again. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for the motivation and extra push for the goals! My word for the year would have to be purposeful. I want to incorporate it into my home and work life and make changes that not only work for me but also make me happy, but work wise can obviously be a challenge since I am not self-employed. This can go from attitude and perspective to actions and outcomes or resolutions. That was a tough one but I’m gonna try and stick with it. Thank you, also, for being encouraging and real. Good evening, Michelle. Watched your video the other day. Love your outlook on life goals. ❤️. You inspired me to do the same. My word this year is discipline. I need to discipline my spending $$$ habits and food intake habits amongst a few others. I would like to focus on decluttering my material things (downsizing if you will) focus on my debt. Make sure that I discipline myself on not buying the next in trend thing. Discipline myself if I bring new clothing or new shoes in...ask myself if I NEED it, or what am I willing to give up for it if I don't, to help ith my spending. I love the laundry soap sheets! So much easier to store and even the packaging is biodegradable! My thing is fabric! But I’ve learned over the last few months that I really want to declutter so I’m getting rid of a lot of it! It’s costing a lot of money but I’m done buying it!

Determination. That is my word for this year. I was washing dishes and filming for my own channel, and I had to stop to actually respond to your one word for the year question. I don’t comment usually but I wanted to for that question because this will be my second year on KZbin and I film similar content as you and I am determined this year to have at least 10,000 subs. And that’s probably a far reach goal and crazy as my goal for this year since I haven’t even reached a 1,000 yet but that is my goal along with a better and new camera to film my videos with. I am determined to put in that hard work to get my channel where I see it by years end. Great video. Thank you for the motivation and for that question because it really got me thinking more about how to do what I want accomplished. ❤

Nothing wrong with ordering groceries and stuff delivered if you find it hard to take three kiddos or even one! Safer too❤❤I use laundry sheets. When my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, her oncologist let us know that the years of drinking water that had sat in bottles in hot spaces almost certainly contributed to the cancer. I’ve been seeing a lot of people now having 2 sets of washers and dryers. So functional and looks luxurious. I was like why did I never think of that too get more laundry done but then honestly the clothes for me would stack up in the baskets needing to get folded lol and I haven’t even replaced my washer and dryer after they both broke, still using an old set someone gave me lol……so I don’t see myself getting to that point. But just a thought

Really good inspiration. Best of luck to you. Opinion (sorry i have to say 🙄) but if you really got rid of a lot of clutter, kids toys, etc. Along with keeping control over bringing in more stuff, you likely wouldn't have to organize and clean constantly. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting help so you can accomplish this

The clothes thing is interesting. Having hardly any clothes is not a virtue, yet a lot of people treat it like that. I’ve had people mention to me my kids have to much and I should get rid of some, and I’m like NOPE! Haha. Personally I like having a lot of clothes and I like my kids to also. My goal is for my kids to be able to go a week or longer without me having to do laundry. Our life is hectic and I don’t always have time to do laundry.

I find it best to buy high quality, timeless household items and take care of it for a long time, reducing waste. I have a Lazy Boy sofa set that is still in great shape through kids, grandchildren and dogs. The covers zip off and I wash them in cold. A KZbinr I used to watch buys her children garbage toys from Dollar Tree. They break them immediately and she buys "fresh" ones. So wasteful.

That’s okay! When you put in 30 hours of work in a video that people can watch for free without ever having to pay me, I think many forget that. Sponsors support my work and channel so my viewers never have to join a membership and pay for my content. There would hardly be any creators on this platform for years and spend as much time and effort into these videos if we couldn’t in some way support our families from it too. If someone can’t handle 2-3 minutes of a sponsor in a 30+ minute video of all free content then that’s ok if you have to step away! It does not hurt my feelings!
